On my walk from town to uni, I noticed some very pretty flowers all over the grass by the side of Earlham Rd. If anyone can tell me what kind of flowers they are, I'd be most appreciative.
I think the last one looks like a bedside light...
You'll probably work out more about me by reading my blog than from what I tell you, but just to get you started: 24 years old, Christian, studying ArtsLaw, often wears odd socks and studying history and German in the UK until December 2010.
Stu says they're freesias.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty :)
Pretty sure they are crocuses! They are one of the first flowers to bloom in spring.

Oooh, controversy, two people think crocuses, one freesias... Maybe we should take a poll?
ReplyDeleteStu's agreeing that they might be crocuses. He didn't reeeally look before :P
ReplyDeleteThey look like freesias to me too. Do they have a strong fragrance? Lovely to see the wild blooms.
ReplyDeleteNo they are really crocuses. I checked.
ReplyDeleteConsensus has it - Crocus they are. :)
